About
Jordan Dexter Adams is a New York–based accessories and footwear designer driven by a curiosity for unexplored design realms. Originally from East Tennessee, Jordan draws inspiration from the glitzy glamour of Dolly Parton, the raw beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, and the dynamic urban landscapes of Manhattan. This contrast between natural texture and theatrical energy informs a design perspective that is both emotionally resonant and visually bold.
Artist Statement
Design, to me, is a form of storytelling. I’m interested in creating pieces that feel cinematic — objects that exist somewhere between fashion, sculpture, and performance. My work often begins with emotion: glamour, nostalgia, fantasy, tension, or movement.
Growing up in East Tennessee and later moving to New York shaped the duality within my work. I’m constantly balancing softness with structure, restraint with embellishment, and natural influences with urban intensity. Through footwear and accessories, I aim to create pieces that feel transformative and immersive while maintaining a strong sense of craftsmanship and wearability.
